Where
did our names come from? Our names come from a
Greg Iles book
called Footprints of God. As my father fought pancreatic cancer, he
was reading a Greg Iles Book, Black Cross. Unfortunately, my father died before he was
able to finish it. Ryan and I loved the book and began reading all
of his other work too (if you haven't read it
or the other Greg Iles' books, you need to)! Footprints of God was
the second Greg Iles book we read. Watch for subsequent litter names
to come from the others!
As with Taylor's last litter, I decided to name these puppies after characters, places, and/or things in the book. Only Faldyn had to be modified so it could be spelled with a "y" :) Faldyn is actually a morphing of Fielding the main character ...but read the book and you'll find the "pups!"
